I haven't bought a ticket yet.
I live 3 hours closer than I did last year, and my camp from last year is begging me to go.
Or do I take a small stack of $100 bills and rip them into small pieces while lying on hot asphalt at noon frying on mushrooms?

Re: Burning man?
Thu, July 26, 2007 - 1:07 PMMight be sacrilege to say this on Tribe but considering what I have heard it costs these days to go to BM I'd keep the cash myself. Ive never gone and am incredibly curious about the experience but just not enough to go at the cost. -

my idea of being in the desert is very different from burning man & what it's become.

Fri, July 27, 2007 - 9:33 AMQueenie is blasphemous. I wouldn't. But then again, I have never been and or had the desire to go. Because of the very hot asphalt dust bunch of people issues. :)

Re: Burning man?
Wed, August 8, 2007 - 11:17 PMI've never been either. Maybe some day. I know there's interesting art, because I've seen a lot of it at other events. Even though I like fire arts and do some building and photography, I'm indifferent at best to BM. This may be a bit like walking into a Catholic church and declaring the Virgin Mary wasn't, but such things usually doesn't hold me back, and Tribe isn't just for burners. (I remember a day when being a burner simply meant ya smoked weed, but I digress).
I live in Phoenix, August is our worst month with high temps and high humidity. If I'm going to take the time off and do anything with ~1k, it's going to involve beaches and/or mountains.
